Campus Update on COVID-19
Based on continuing guidance by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Vigo County Health Department, Indiana State University has now made the use of masks optional.
While Indiana State does not have a vaccination mandate, the University encourages employees and students to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Evidence shows that those who are vaccinated are highly protected against severe illness and hospitalization.
Indiana State University offers free COVID-19 Moderna vaccinations from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 and 3:30 p.m. every Thursday in the ISU Student Health Center in the Student Services Building. Information on other vaccine-provider locations in Vigo County can be found at ourshot.in.gov.
